I haven't been to the actual bakery, but I've tasted their goods and they are very yummy. It's Paradise Bakery at Casa Adobes (Ina and Oracle). Here's their website.
Oh my goodness!! I didn't know we had a Paradise Bakery here!
My favorite place to go get a yummy dessert or pastry is at AJ's Market up on Sunrise in the La Encantada Mall. GOOD STUFF! It's a bit of a drive, but SO worth it.
I just had another thought...Entemann's Sp? has a bakery outlet at Ina and Thornydale (Northwest corner next to Twice as Nice and Big Lots. They have "day old" donuts, breads, etc. for cheap!
Thanks for your comments! I went to Paradise Bakery yesterday and they had exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to do a little bread/cookie basket for our neighbors who had helped us out. We also sat down and had lunch there. Yummy!
I hear you found Paradise Bakery, but there is another one in town that I grew up going to after school, The restaurant is called Ghinis French Caffe - fine cuisine in Tucson, Arizona it's owned by a french women and her father runs the bakery next door, La Baguette, I believe, they have some AMAZING cakes.

I love paradise bakery. The one at Ina & Oracle is a great location too. We should get a group of girls together and go one morning!
